About the Department
Established in 2012, the Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at NIT Silchar has been delivering transformative management education for 14 years. Located on a 700-acre campus with dedicated facilities, it offers modern infrastructure, including digital classrooms, analytics and research labs, and a departmental library. The MBA program provides specialisations in Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, combining theory with practical exposure through case studies, industrial visits, and a mandatory 45-day internship. Emphasising holistic development, the department fosters professional skills via academic and extracurricular activities. Guided by experienced faculty, DoMS has produced successful alumni who excel as business leaders and entrepreneurs worldwide.
